I was the only person I knew who actually looked forward to trick or treating at the giant house of the lady who had a job with Scholastic and gave out books for Halloween, even if I already had that month’s Animorphs book and had to pick something else, and so I am all for Neil Gaiman’s proposed tradition of All Hallows Read. Gaiman suggests that we would all benefit from a holiday that was specifically about giving books to your loved ones, and why not make it Halloween, to just add to all the scary sugar-fueled goodness.

It’s been over a year since Sherlock was first broadcast and I do not know of any other fanbase that could survive on three episodes for that amount of time. My dash implodes when new pictures or news about any of the cast is released- and maybe this is normal…
